Helping increase attendance and awareness for the 7th annual celebration of cannabis legalization

The National Cannabis Festival team aimed to increase attendance at their 7th event to over 25,000 cannabis enthusiasts. Considering the event’s impact on the city of Washington, another goal was to enhance pre and day of offerings for festival goers, introducing 420 Food Week, a bevy of new activations, and a incomparable lineup of A-list performers.


THE RESULTS

In the months leading up to the festival, Evergreene Group stepped in to garner pre-event buzz and position founder Caroline Phillips as a thought leader in cannabis reform. We also managed media during the festival and at The Congressional Forum hosted at the U.S. Capitol which featured panel discussions with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, Senator John Hickenlooper, Representative Barbara Lee, and more.

Pre-festival coverage helped garner more than 25,000 attendees and 150,000,000 media impressions.
